Jeffrey von Brown is an experienced transportation professional currently serving as Team Leader and Urban and Rural Forecast Coordinator at the Iowa Department of Transportation since May 2012, specializing in travel demand modeling and transportation planning. Previously, Jeffrey held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Transportation, contributing to a National Science Foundation research project by developing software for modeling transportation networks. Earlier career experience includes roles as Account Manager and Logistics Analyst at Jacobson Logistics, where responsibilities involved managing transportation networks and overseeing customer startups. Jeffrey holds a Master of Science in Transportation from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Science in Transportation & Logistics with a minor in History from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science from Swansea University.
