Rob Zahnd BS, NRP, TP-C has extensive experience in emergency medical services and firefighting. Currently a Health Care Sergeant with the Iowa Army National Guard since February 2015, Rob has also held the roles of Emergency Care Sergeant and Combat Medic. Concurrently, Rob serves as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Urbandale, IA Fire Department since September 2010. Prior experience includes being a Field Instructor for the Iowa Fire Service Training Bureau and holding the position of Northwest District Vice President for Phi Theta Kappa in the Iowa Region. Rob began their career as a Firefighter/EMT with the City of Boone, IA Fire Department from January 2006 to September 2010. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Care from Eastern Kentucky University and an Associate of Science in Fire Science Technology from Des Moines Area Community College.
