Jiri Schindler is a highly experienced technical leader with a focus on emerging technologies and product innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at IonQ since December 2022, Jiri previously co-founded Tranquil Data, where efforts were directed towards enhancing data governance for digital health companies. Jiri also held the role of Distinguished Technologist at HPE SimpliVity, contributing to significant product capability expansions and operational improvements. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff at NetApp, Jiri worked on performance enhancements for the DataONTAP product, while earlier experience as a Principal Engineer at EMC involved driving architectural advancements in system performance. Jiri holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and both M.Eng. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
