Cody Dezelan is a highly accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at IonQ since March 2024, Cody previously held a similar position at Amber Kinetics from October 2021 to March 2024, focusing on the advancement of flywheel energy storage systems. Prior to that, Cody worked at Synrad from January 2015 to August 2021, advancing through roles from Mechanical Engineer to Senior Project Manager, overseeing R&D projects and product testing. Additional experience includes mechanical engineering at Ingersoll Rand, Electroimpact, and research roles at Regenstrief Institute and Zucrow Laboratories, emphasizing design, implementation, and project management. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, earned in 2012.
