Ana Ovcharova has a diverse work experience in the fields of science and data analysis. Ana is currently employed as a Staff Scientist at IonQ since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Capital One as a Senior Data Scientist from November 2020 to July 2022. Ana also had a brief role as an Insight Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science in June and July 2020. Before transitioning to industry, Ana was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara from January 2015 to May 2020. Ana also gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2009 to December 2014 and as a Postbaccalaureate Research Scholar at Berkeley Lab from June 2008 to July 2009.

Ana Ovcharova has a strong educational background in the field of Physics. From 2005 to 2008, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the same institution from 2009 to 2014 and completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Experimental High Energy Physics. Ana's education at the University of California, Berkeley has provided their with a solid foundation in the field of Physics and has equipped their with expertise in Experimental High Energy Physics.
