Sheena Runas is a seasoned professional in the field of research and development, with extensive experience in analytical development and quality control. Currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since October 2017, Runas previously held positions as a Senior Research Associate and Research Associate at Senomyx, Inc. from August 2011 to October 2017. Prior to that, Runas worked as a Research Chemist at Nitto Denko Technical Corporation from March 2008 to August 2011, and as a Medicinal Chemistry Intern at Ambit Biosciences for a brief period in 2007. Sheena Runas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry from San Diego State University.
