Matthew Rein has a diverse work history that spans several industries. Matthew began their career at The Court Theatre as an Actor from 2005 to 2006, followed by a role as an Academic Assistant at Capella University from 2006 to 2008. Matthew then transitioned to the Children's Theatre Company as an Actor from 2008 to 2009. After that, they worked as a Non-Retail Procurement Analyst at Target from 2009 to 2010.

In 2011, Matthew joined Performark as a Developer until 2013, when they took on the role of Director of Software Development at ManageAmerica Integrated Billing Services. Matthew worked in this position until 2023, during which they gained valuable experience.

In 2019, Matthew began working as an Instructor at Nucamp Coding Bootcamp and continued in this role until early 2023. Most recently, they joined Ionic as a Senior Sales Engineer in March 2023.
