Jacques Leveille is an experienced professional in the geophysical field, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Technology and Communications at ION Geophysical since June 2010. Prior roles at ION Geophysical include Senior Vice President and Distinguished Advisor for Technology. Previously, Jacques held the position of Chief Geophysicist at Hess Corporation from November 1994 to February 2010, and Staff Geophysicist at Shell from August 1982 to November 1994. Jacques briefly retired in early 2020 before returning to ION Geophysical. Jacques earned a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Boston University between 1971 and 1976.
