Steve then moved on to Mindspeed Technologies in 2000, where they served as an Optical Communications Integrated Circuit Product Test Lead, responsible for all aspects of chip level characterization of emergent OC-48 crosspoint switch and clock/data recovery circuit products. In 2002, Steve returned to NAWCWD as a Net Centric EW Chief Engineer, where they lead the development of an agile enterprise architecture, including an improved capability requirements process, to more fully realize the implementation of the net centric electronic warfare and electromagnetic spectrum operations. In 2017, Steve joined IOMAXIS as a Senior Systems Engineer, providing advanced system research and engineering support in identifying and assessing emergent technologies and microservice architecture design patterns with applicability to Marine Corps EW and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) mission areas.
Steve Hahn attended California State University, Northridge from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Steve then attended UCLA Extension from 2002 to 2004, where they completed a Certificate Program in Communication Systems. In 2007, Steve Hahn enrolled at the Naval Postgraduate School and completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering in 2012.
