Aaron Miller

Senior System Engineer at IOMAXIS

Aaron Miller has over 17 years of professional experience in the IT field. Aaron began their career in 2002 as a Senior Network Engineer and System Administrator for General Dynamics Information Technology, working for the United States Army Southern Command and United States Army South. In this role, they managed and maintained intricate networks of over 300 devices, built and maintained servers, and created tools and scripts to automate tasks. In 2008, they became the Red Team Lead / Penetration Tester for Northrop Grumman, working for the United States Army on the Army Red Team. Aaron lead numerous assessments of Army networks worldwide and supported several Global Exercises providing realistic threat replication for network defenders. From 2012-2015, they worked as a Security Researcher for Crucial Security. In 2015, they joined IOMAXIS as a Senior System Engineer and Security Researcher.

Aaron Miller's education history includes two educational experiences. From 1996 to 1998, they attended the Miami Valley Career Technology Center, where they studied Electronics Engineering Technology. Aaron then attended Edison State Community College from 1998 to 1999, also studying Electronics Engineering Technology. In addition to their educational experiences, Miller has obtained a number of certifications, including the Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) in 2013, the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) in 2012, the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) in 2010, the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in 2009, the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) in 2009, the Certified Penetration Tester (CPT) in 2009, Network+ and Security+ in 2006, the GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) in 2010, the Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) in 2011, the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security and Wireless in 2011, the GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) in 2012, and the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) in 2011.
