Mauricio González Torrescano worked as a Data Scientist at iOLAP starting in May 2022. Prior to that, from November 2021 to May 2022, they also worked as a Data Scientist at InfoSapiens. Before transitioning into the field of data science, they held the position of Sr Technical Support Assistant at Resideo from May 2021 to October 2021.

Mauricio González Torrescano earned a Licenciatura degree in Ingeniería de Bioprocesos from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, attending from 2014 to 2019. In addition, they obtained several certifications including Curso de PostgreSQL Aplicado a Ciencia de Datos from Platzi in February 2022, Curso Profesional de Python from Platzi in January 2022, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022.
