Andrew Zonenberg

Andrew Zonenberg has a strong background in computer science and security. Andrew has worked as a Principal Security Consultant at IOActive, Inc. since 2015, where they have conducted penetration testing, code auditing, and reverse engineering of hardware and software. Andrew has given presentations on embedded security topics at conferences worldwide and invited talks at private corporate events.

Additionally, Andrew has volunteered as a Ground Pounder at Washington Explorer Search & Rescue since 2016, where they locate and aids people lost in the woods, as well as recovers evidence of crimes in wooded areas.

Andrew's education includes a PhD in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they researched computer architecture and security. Andrew also served as a Teaching Assistant during their time there, teaching secure software principles and a class on hardware security and reverse engineering.

Prior to that, Andrew worked as a Scientist/Engineer at DrawerSteak Technologies LLC, where they assisted in the design of a novel MEMS device and contributed to multiple pending patents. Andrew also worked as a Software Developer at Zonenberg Software from 2006 to 2009.

Andrew Zonenberg has a strong education background in computer science. Andrew obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a higher level of education and completed their PhD in Computer Science from the same institution from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, Andrew Zonenberg has also obtained several certifications in the field of networking from Cisco Systems, including CCNA, CCNA-Security, and CCNA-Voice, all of which were obtained in January 2009.
