Simon Beckett is a Senior Development Consultant at io consulting, specializing in Energy Production and Storage projects with a focus on renewable energy, industrial de-carbonisation, and traditional energy projects since April 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held positions at Briar Chemicals Limited as a Chemical Process Plant Engineer, Kettle Foods as a Continuous Improvement Area Lead, and PIL Membranes in various roles, including Production Manager and Process Engineer. Simon began their career at Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants, starting as a Student Process Engineer and progressing to a Process Engineer, and gained early experience at Bayer CropScience as a Student Technical Assistant. Simon holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath.
