Dr. Olga Petrauskene, Ph.D., MBA has a long and varied career in the medical and scientific fields. Dr. Olga began their career in 1998 as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University, School of Medicine. Dr. Olga then moved to Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies)/Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2000, where they held the role of Director R&D, Applied Markets. In 2012, they became the Director Product and Business Development at Arbor Vita Corporation. In 2014, they joined Life Science Angels as a Member of the Medical Device & Digital Health and BIO genomics Screening Committees. In 2015, they were appointed Director Board Of Directors at InvVax, Inc. and in 2016 they were appointed Director, Board of Directors at Molecular Decisions Inc. and President and CEO of Molecular Decisions, Inc., where they created highly innovative, unique and rapid diagnostic solutions for efficient drug development and personalized treatment. Finally, in 2019, they were appointed Chief Operations Officer and General Manager & VP of Buiness Development at Diagnostic BioSystems.
Dr. Olga Petrauskene holds a Ph.D., MBA and a range of other qualifications. Dr. Olga obtained their Executive MBA from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business between 2017 and 2019. In 2008 and 2009, they earned an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Between 1983 and 1994, they obtained a BS, MS, and PhD in Biochemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). Finally, they earned a PostDoctoral Degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Stanford University School of Medicine between 1998 and 2000.
