Kathleen Sarchett, CPA, currently serves as Sr. Tax and Compliance Manager at Invoca since August 2022, where ownership of direct and indirect tax compliance has led to a significant reduction in external CPA fees. Previously, Kathleen worked at HeimLantz, P.C. from January 2021 to July 2022 as CPA, Tax Review and Skills Development Manager, focusing on tax return review and complex research. Prior to that, Kathleen was the Income Tax Manager at Beene Garter LLP from January 2019 to December 2020, responsible for detailed review of tax returns and support for tax positions. Kathleen began a noteworthy career as Managing Partner at First State CPAs LLC from January 2010 to November 2018, engaging in various functions typical of CPA roles while also overseeing business management aspects and successfully negotiating the sale of the firm. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Albany.
