Matt Hardwick has a diverse work experience, starting as a Software Developer at Ternion Corporation in 2007 and later becoming a Software Developer at Camber Corporation in 2011. Matt then worked as a Research Assistant and Woltosz Fellow at Auburn University, where they contributed to the development of an Android application and researched software development processes.
In 2014, Matt joined Bellhops as a Software Engineer and later became the Software Engineering Lead. In this role, they led teams and successfully completed various initiatives, including developing and launching front-end applications and transitioning to a service-oriented architecture.
In 2017, Matt worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Skuid. Matt then joined Datadog in 2018 as a Software Engineer and later became an Engineering Manager. During their time at Datadog, they played a significant role in launching an Incident Management product and planning the team's roadmap in partnership with product management.
Most recently, Matt is working as the Director of Engineering at Invisible Technologies Inc. starting in 2023.
Matt Hardwick obtained a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Auburn University in 2012. Matt then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Auburn University between 2013 and 2014. In 2017, they completed a Self-Driving Car Engineering Nanodegree with a focus on Autonomous Vehicle Engineering from Udacity.
