Sam Sanders has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at i-Pharm Consulting in 2017, specializing in recruiting engineering, operations, and supply professionals for medical device and pharmaceutical companies. They then moved on to Stellar Recruitment in 2020, where they worked as a Recruitment Consultant, focusing on manufacturing, operations, and supply chain roles. While at Stellar, they had a particular focus on "special projects" and building relationships with leading organizations. In 2021, they joined simPRO Software as a Business Development Manager. Following that, they worked at Parkable in the same role, offering parking management solutions to businesses and property owners. Currently, they are a Business Development Manager at Invenio Pty. Ltd., specializing in selling Dassault Systems CPE products. They are responsible for covering Australia and New Zealand.

Sam Sanders started their education at St Bede's College from 2009 to 2013. After completing high school, they attended Ara Institute of Canterbury from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Management majoring in Business Information Systems. In 2016, they also had a semester abroad at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, focusing on International Business. Additionally, Sam participated in a Student Exchange Program at Jaipuria Institute of Management in 2016. Sam further expanded their knowledge and skills by obtaining a National Certificate in Real Estate from The Skills Organisation in 2014. Later, in 2017, Sam pursued a COP in Finance at the University of Canterbury. In 2018, they obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification from Bloomberg LP.
