Joe Bushong currently serves as Senior Director at Invariant since April 2023. Prior to this role, Joe was a Senior Policy Advisor for U.S. Senate Majority Whip Senator Richard J. Durbin from June 2016 to April 2023, specializing in appropriations/budget and infrastructure/transportation policy. Joe also held the positions of Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Congressman Mike Quigley from August 2012 to June 2016, and Legislative Counsel for the Office of Congressman Ted Deutch from October 2011 to August 2012. Joe holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida.
