Ben Shoemaker is a Computer Scientist at Intramotev Autonomous Rail since January 2022, contributing to the development of a self-driving rail car within an interdisciplinary team. Prior to this, Ben served as a Technology Associate at the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University from December 2001 to July 2006, where responsibilities included technology advisement and maintaining database-driven websites. Ben also worked as a System Administrator Assistant at California State University San Bernardino from January 1999 to June 2001, maintaining computer laboratories and managing Linux and Windows workstations. Earlier experience includes a role as a CSR/Technician at IKON Office Solutions from September 1996 to December 1998, focusing on the installation and support of computer systems. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University-San Bernardino, earned between 1998 and 2001.
