Senior Social Media Manager at InterVarsity Press

Allison Noble has held a variety of roles in the marketing and communications industry since 2013. In 2013, they were the Social Media Director and Reporter for The Odyssey Newspaper, where they wrote multiple stories a week and marketed content through the use of social media. In 2014, they held internships at Make-A-Wish, WTTW/Chicago PBS, Midway Madness and Orrington Strategies. At Make-A-Wish, they wrote testimonials to be sent to top donors and designed fliers, posters and business cards for events using InDesign. At WTTW/Chicago PBS, they created content for the station's Facebook and Twitter pages and wrote letters to be sent to all PBS members nationwide. At Midway Madness, they wrote feature stories about the Illinois Men's Basketball team and attended all home games in the Press Section. At Orrington Strategies, they worked on projects for a Fortune 500 financial services company and brainstormed how to grow their Mutual Funds business. In 2015, they were an Intern at Finn Partners and an Office of Undergraduate Affairs Marketing Intern at Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. At Finn Partners, they developed strategies for media outreach, social media advertising campaigns and pitch efforts. At Gies College of Business, they designed promotional print and digital banners and logos for display in university buildings using Adobe InDesign. In 2016, they were an Assistant Account Executive at Finn Partners, where they composed client facing documents, including media lists, events trackers, media alerts, press releases and coverage reports. In 2017, they were a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Christ Church, where they created strategic print, web, social media, video, oral, audio, e-mail, and visual communications to convey the mission and values of the 5,000+ member multisite church to internal and external audiences. Since 2019, they have been a Social Media Manager at InterVarsity Press, where they have grown the Instagram following by over 700% in the first 15 months (1,900 - 15,500), manages strategy, execution, and content for 17 social accounts for IVP and authors, and leads multi-departmental social campaigns to drive sales of 150+ books per year.

Allison Noble completed their Bachelor's degree in Advertising with a Minor in Communications and a Certificate in Public Relations at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, they attended the University of Navarra for Communications. Prior to that, they attended Hinsdale Central High School from 2008 to 2012. In 2019, they obtained a Google Analytics certification from Google.
