Jonathan Teich serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer at InterSystems, leading the HealthShare division with a focus on enhancing health data aggregation and insights for care providers globally. With a longstanding career at Brigham and Women's Hospital as Corporate Director of clinical information systems R&D and an Emergency Physician, Jonathan has pioneered innovations such as computerized physician order entry and patient portals, resulting in significant reductions in errors and costs. Previous roles include serving as Clinical Architect at ThoughtWorks and Chief Medical Information Officer at Elsevier, with contributions to electronic health records for low-income countries and clinical decision support solutions. Jonathan has also advised the US Department of Health & Human Services, shaping national programming in clinical decision support. Jonathan holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a BS from Caltech, and an MD from Harvard Medical School.
