Felicia Hughes has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 with Daktronics as a Marketing Graphics Designer. Felicia then worked as a General Laborer at Brookings County Conservation District from 2009 to 2013 before becoming an Assistant Manager/Bar Tender at Skinner's Pub from 2011 to 2014. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Contract Graphic Designer/Technician at South Dakota State University. Felicia then served as an Executive Assistant at Integrated Learning Academy-Newton & Applied Behavioral Learning Services from December 2014 to July 2015. Following that, they worked as a Medical Receptionist at Dakota Dermatology from September 2015 to November 2016. From September 2015 to February 2017, they were a Sales Specialist at Victoria's Secret. Afterward, Felicia joined Aerotek as a Recruiter from January 2017 to March 2018. Felicia briefly worked as an HCBC Billing Specialist at The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society from April 2018 to August 2018. Currently, they are employed at Interstates, starting as a Recruiter in August 2018 and progressing to Senior Recruiter in November 2021 before becoming the Lead Recruiter in May 2023.

Felicia Hughes completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design from South Dakota State University from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, from 2009 to 2010, they pursued Graphic Design at Minnesota State University, Mankato, without completing a degree.
