Nancy Quiros

Senior Manager, Community Engagement, Latin America at Internet Society

Nancy Quiros is the Senior Manager of Community Engagement for Latin America at the Internet Society. Nancy has over 10 years of experience in project management, eCommerce, and training.

Nancy started their career as a teacher at ULACIT (Universidad Latinoamericana de la Ciencia y la Tecnología). There, they worked with cross-functional teams in the US and contributed to various eCommerce analyses and researches. Nancy was also responsible for creating and enhancing operational processes, developing and leading training programs, creating new client and performance reports, and performing HTML programming.

In 2010, Nancy transitioned to working as a Central America and Caribbean (CCA) Analyst for DHL. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing data and trends in the CCA region to support marketing initiatives.

In their current role as Senior Manager of Community Engagement for Latin America at the Internet Society, Nancy is responsible for developing and executing community engagement strategies to increase awareness of Internet issues, grow membership, and engage with key stakeholders in the region.

Nancy Quiros has a Master's degree in Coaching and Organizational Leadership from Universidad Europea del Atlántico in Spain, a Master's degree in Project Management from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, and two Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Nancy'spanoamericana and Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica. Nancy also has certification in Innovation Management from CertiProf, Scrum Master from SCRUMstudy, and Pitching Your Ideas Strategically from LinkedIn.

They are on a team with Shernon Osepa - Director, Caribbean Affairs & Development, João Paulo de Vasconcelos Aguiar - Communications & Outreach Manager, Latin America. Nancy Quiros reports to Christian O'Flaherty, RVP, Latin America & The Caribbean.
