Thomas Karl Warburton is a Lead Data Scientist at Navistar Inc since August 2022, focusing on telematics data analysis from Electric Vehicles and developing a framework for processing large datasets in Azure Databricks. Previously, Thomas served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Iowa State University from April 2017 to August 2022, conducting research on long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments under Prof. Mayly Sanchez. Prior to this role, Thomas completed a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics at The University of Sheffield, where research centered on particle identification in Liquid Argon Time Projections Chambers and cosmogenic background rejection for the DUNE experiment. Thomas also holds a Master of Science in Physics from The University of Sheffield.
