Philippe Waty serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors and a member of the Board of Directors at the International School Basel since January 2023. At Novartis, Philippe Waty has held the position of Global Head Total Rewards since May 2011. Philippe Waty previously worked at UCB S.A. from March 1998 to May 2011 as Vice President Corporate Compensation & Benefits - HRIS and Director Human Resources Europe. Earlier roles include Group Compensation & Benefits Director at Auchan and Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen. Philippe Waty began a legal career as an Attorney at Law before transitioning into corporate consulting. Philippe Waty holds a Master's degree in Tax from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and a Law Degree in Corporate & Tax Law from Université libre de Bruxelles.
