Karen Mae de la Rosa is an experienced professional in information systems and software engineering, currently serving as a Specialist at the International Rice Research Institute since July 2018, after holding the position of Junior Specialist in data management. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Project Assistant for GIS Database at the American Red Cross from July 2015 to June 2018, and various data management positions at Handicap International, where responsibilities encompassed data handling for shelter and livelihood projects. Earlier in their career, Karen held a tutoring position at Brainbox Tutorial and Review Center. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines, completed in 2014, and graduated from the Philippine Science High School Eastern Visayas Campus in 2008.
