Ajay Panchbhai is an experienced professional in the field of plant biotechnology and regulatory affairs. Ajay has worked with companies such as International Rice Research Institute, DuPont Pioneer, and Mahyco. Currently serving as Regional Breeding Lead in ESA and Seed Systems and Product Management Lead in Africa, Ajay is focused on establishing seed systems and ensuring access to quality rice varieties for farmers. Ajay holds a PhD in Biotechnology and has extensive experience in crop transformation, transgenic characterization, regulatory affairs, and stewardship.
