Lydia Dawson is an experienced grant writer currently employed at the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission since October 2022. Prior to this role, Lydia served as a Program Officer in the Humanitarian and Disaster Response Unit at World Relief from January 2020 to October 2022, where responsibilities included managing projects in the Caribbean and East Africa and collaborating with various stakeholders for disaster response efforts. Previous positions include Interim Director at Wise Old Owl Tutoring, where Lydia oversaw a tutoring program for low-income students, and Graduate Assistant in the Global Studies Department at Multnomah University, focusing on communication and event planning.
