Jenna Wes is an experienced HR Manager specializing in Emergency and Humanitarian Action at the International Rescue Committee, with a focus on supporting Afghan evacuees. As the Founder and Executive Director of Empowering Dignity in Girls Everywhere (EDGE), Jenna developed a program to aid war-survivor girls in Uganda through education, economic development, and psycho-social support. Prior roles include Program Services Coordinator at Heartfull World Foundation, where Jenna coordinated empowering initiatives and conducted trauma-sensitivity training, along with internships at the International Rescue Committee and Peace Corps. With a strong academic background, including a Master's degree in Transformative Leadership from California Institute of Integral Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Justice and the Psychology of Oppression from The Evergreen State College, Jenna also holds a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification.
