Jill Stoddard has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Jill has been working at the International Peace Institute (IPI) since 2009, where they currently hold the positions of Editor In Chief and Head, Global Observatory / Senior Adviser. Jill has also served as the Director of Communications and Director of Web and Multimedia at IPI.

Before joining IPI, Jill worked at Columbia Business School as a Blogger from October 2007 to July 2008. Prior to that, they were associated with The Earth Institute at Columbia University, where they held the roles of Associate Director, Web and Web Editor from July 2006 to September 2007 and August 2002 to June 2006, respectively.

Jill's career started in 1991 as a Freelance Writer/Producer for WNYC's Studio 360, McSweeney's, and Might Magazine. Jill worked in this capacity until 2004.

Jill Stoddard attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
