Simon McMahon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in migration policy and research. Currently serving as a Policy Officer in the Policy Coordination Unit at IOM - UN Migration since September 2022, Simon has previously held significant roles as a Project Officer at the European Commission and as a Research Fellow at Coventry University. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Analyst at The Social Innovation Partnership and as a Visiting Fellow at both El Colegio de la Frontera Sur and the European University Institute. Simon's academic background includes a PhD in European and International Studies from King's College London, alongside multiple master's degrees and a BA in Comparative American Studies from the University of Warwick.
