Yasser Elsersawi

Security Coordinator at International Monetary Fund

Yasser ElSersawi currently serves as the Security Coordinator at the International Monetary Fund, focusing on operational security and risk management since April 2022. Previously, Yasser held various key positions, including Lecturer at the Egyptian Peacekeeping Operations Training Center and Senior Security Expert for Iraqi National Elections with the United Nations, where responsibilities included leading security assessments and developing risk contingency plans. Yasser's extensive experience also encompasses roles at the United Nations, providing principal security advice in missions across Libya, Syria, and Western Sahara, as well as serving as the Director of Security for Canal Sugar. Yasser began a career in law enforcement with the Ministry of Interior of Egypt, culminating in the rank of LtCol. Yasser holds a Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from the Police Academy of Egypt and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Computer Information Systems from SADAT Academy.
