Tatjana Schulze is an accomplished economist currently working at the International Monetary Fund in the Research Department's Systemic Issues Division since September 2022. Tatjana completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Economics at the University of Oxford, where also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Previous experience includes consulting and trainee roles at the European Central Bank, as well as a research fellowship at the Bank for International Settlements focused on fiscal and monetary policies post-COVID-19. Early career experiences include internships at Banco de México, Deutsche Bundesbank, PwC Deutschland, and LBBW. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree with distinction in Financial Economics from Saïd Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Maastricht University, graduating cum laude.
