Parisa Kamali is an accomplished economist currently serving at the International Monetary Fund since September 2018, with experience in the Finance Department and the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department. Prior to this role, Parisa worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 2012 to June 2018. Parisa holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from the University of Minnesota, attained in 2018, and another Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dartmouth College, completed in 2012. Additionally, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering was earned from the University of Tehran from 2005 to 2009.
