Margaux MacDonald is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in both academic and professional settings. Currently serving as an economist at the International Monetary Fund since September 2016, Margaux previously held positions including teaching fellow and teaching assistant at Queen's University from September 2010 to August 2016, and a PhD internship at the Bank of Canada in late 2014. Margaux also worked as an economist at EY from September 2009 to July 2010. Margaux holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Queen's University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Economics from St. Francis Xavier University.
