Josefine Quast is an experienced economist currently working at the International Monetary Fund since September 2023. Prior to this role, Josefine served as a Research Assistant at Deutsche Bundesbank from November 2020 to August 2023. Josefine's academic background includes a position as a PhD Researcher at The Julius Maximilians University of W羹rzburg from April 2020 to June 2023 and as a PhD Candidate at the University of Jena from April 2017 to March 2020. Additionally, Josefine gained experience as a Graduate Student at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy during the period of August 2016 to May 2017.
