Kayla Harris is currently serving as an Officer in Digital Communications at the International Medical Corps since September 2022. Prior experience includes an internship in Research and Communications at the Korea Economic Institute of America and administrative support at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Kayla has also worked as a Tech Frontier Intern at the Korea Innovation Center Washington DC and as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the GW Institute for Korean Studies, where research focused on Feminism in South Korea and Its Effects on Gendered Language. Additional roles include serving as a Shift Leader at Trend Urban Cafe. Kayla holds a Master’s degree in Public Diplomacy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Korean Language & Literature and International Affairs from The George Washington University, complemented by an Associate of Science from Georgia State University.
