Iris Bollemeijer is an experienced nutrition professional with a strong background in humanitarian and development nutrition programs. Currently serving as a Senior Nutrition Advisor at International Medical Corps since January 2014, Iris provides technical support for nutrition initiatives in Africa and Asia, including emergency responses during crises such as the Ebola outbreak in Liberia and the famine response in Nigeria. Prior experience includes managing the World Food Programme's HIV & TB nutrition program and conducting analysis for global nutrition initiatives. Additional roles at FAO, Wemos, and Fairfood International showcase a commitment to food security and nutritional health. Iris holds a Master's degree in Public Health Nutrition and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Health from Wageningen University & Research.
