Emma Cresswell is an experienced educator currently serving as an Adult Learning Tutor specializing in ESOL and Literacies at Aberdeen City Council since September 2021, while also working as a sessional ESOL tutor with WEA – Adult Learning, Within Reach since December 2021. Emma has an extensive background with International House World Organisation dating back to October 2014, providing online tutoring for various courses, and previously held positions at several International House branches, including Assistant Director of Studies and Director of Studies. Additional responsibilities included working as a Speaking Examiner for Cambridge English Language Assessment and leading teacher training initiatives in Santiago de Compostela. Emma holds a degree in European Studies Combined Languages from the University of Kent and has furthered education through various international programs.
