Yves Bella Rwego currently serves as a Programme Officer at the International Growth Centre since June 2023. Previously, Rwego worked as a Consultant for Programme Support for the AfCFTA at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH from July 2022 to December 2022, and as an Economist at TradeMark Africa from August 2019 to December 2021. Additional experience includes a brief role as a Banker at I&M Bank (Rwanda) Ltd in 2019 and an internship with the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) in economic regulation and procurement from April 2018 to January 2019. Rwego holds a Bachelor's degree in Science in Business Economics from Uganda Martyrs University, a Diploma in Regional Trade Policy from the University of Mauritius, and is pursuing a Certificate in Public Policy Analysis at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) through March 2024.
