Nico Fara is a multifaceted leader in the gaming and technology sectors, currently serving as Chapter Lead and Board Member for the International Game Developers Association (IGDA®), where stakeholder engagement is a primary focus. As Founder and Editor in Chief of The Immergence Show, Nico produces and hosts a weekly live program centered on emerging technologies. In addition, as Founder and Leader of The Fashion DAO, Nico champions Web3 initiatives in fashion, while also holding memberships in the IEEE and Metaverse Standards Forum. As Founder and CEO of Chief Metaverse Officer™, Nico provides consultancy services to major brands on their web3 strategies. Nico's experience includes mentoring at Outlier Ventures, speaking engagements, and serving as a Conference Associate for the Game Developers Conference. Academically, Nico holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science from Former National University.
