Mikael Petersen is a seasoned professional in the dairy industry with extensive experience in innovation and project management. Currently serving as the Design Team Leader for the Pilot Plant Dairy at IFF since March 2024, Mikael previously held various leadership roles at SPX FLOW, Inc. from March 2016 to March 2024, including Global Innovation Centers Manager, where responsibilities included managing global innovation centers for customer pilot tests, and Global Design Manager for liquid processes, overseeing new product development for liquid food products. Earlier, Mikael worked at DuPont as an Application Specialist within the dairy group, followed by roles at Arla Foods as Project Manager focused on cheese projects and at SPX Process Equipment as a Product Specialist for UHT processes. Mikael began a career at Arla Foods Ingredients as an Application Engineer and Process Manager. Educationally, Mikael holds a Master of Science in Dairy Science and Technology, earned between 1994 and 2000.
