Lauren McCormack is a Programme Manager at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, focusing on the Global Youth Mobilization initiative to support young people in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. With extensive experience in humanitarian and youth development projects, Lauren has held various roles including Senior Project Assistant for youth-focused initiatives and Deputy Operations Manager for water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs funded by DFID. Lauren has also served as the Co-chair and trustee of Raleigh International, and worked as an Expedition Leader with Wilderness Expertise. Additional experience includes roles in organizations such as HEALTH FOR ALL, Care4Calais, and Restless Development. Lauren holds a Master's Degree in Sport and Exercise Physiology from the University of Roehampton and a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science with Business from Kingston University.
