Damona Doye

Damona Doye is a farm management Extension economist, Regents Professor, and Rainbolt Chair of Agricultural Finance at Oklahoma State University.

She attended her first IFMA Congress in Ireland and has been a regular participant since then. She recently joined the IFMA Council and was elected as a Vice-President in 2011.

Damona is the past chair of the Board of Directors of the Council on Food, Agriculture and Resource Economics.

She is a past Director of the AAEA, past president of the Southern Agricultural Economics Association, and past chair of both the Southern and North Central Farm Management Extension Committees in the U.S.

Applied research interests include land values and rental rates, enterprise analysis, technology adoption, farm information systems, and farm transitions. Damona supervises the IFMAPS program which assists farmers and ranchers in developing farm/ranch financial statements and business plans. She is co-leader of the OSU Master Cattleman Program and provides leadership for several educational programs targeted to women in agriculture. She also helps with development of software tools to assist producers with decision-making.
