Jesse Mugero is a Program Associate at the International Center for Transitional Justice, focusing on research related to transitional justice processes in Uganda and capacity building for civil society organizations. Prior experience includes serving as a Legal Officer at the Refugee Law Project, where Jesse advised refugees on legal matters, and working as a Global Diversity Fellow at the Center for International Criminal Justice, conducting research on human rights issues. Jesse has also lectured at the International University of East Africa and held legal positions at various organizations, including the International Law Institute and Justice and Reconciliation Project. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Transnational Criminal Justice and a Diploma in Legal Practice, along with various certifications in advocacy and international criminal law.
