Birhanu Tadesse Daba is a highly experienced legal and tax policy expert currently serving as a Senior Associate at IBFD since March 2021. Previously, Birhanu held roles including Associate in International Tax and Transfer Pricing at NovioTax, as well as various positions at IBFD and Ethiopia's Ministry of Finance, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating tax policy studies, proposing reforms, and leading negotiations on tax treaties. Birhanu's educational background includes an Advanced Master of Laws in International Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam, a Master of Laws in International Law from Ethiopian Civil Service University, and a Bachelor of Laws from Addis Ababa University.
