Shawn Vanderjack is a Union Organizer with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers since March 2023, focusing on helping workers improve wages and working conditions while guiding them through the union formation process. Previously, Shawn held positions as a District Organizer and Associate Organizer within the same organization, assisting workers in union campaigns and education. Shawn's experience also includes serving as Chief Shop Steward, Vice President, and President of Woodworkers Local Lodge W12, overseeing various union activities and contract negotiations. Additionally, Shawn served as President of the Five Counties Central Labor Council and has a background in operational roles at Roseburg Forest Products. Education includes a certification in Leadership, Organizing, Collective Bargaining, and Labor Studies from the Winpisinger Center of Education and Technology.
