Sopon Pornchokchai, PhD D.FIABCI CRS MRICS, currently serves as the President of FIABCI Thailand since May 2017 and has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The Appraisal Foundation since 2007 and 2006, respectively. Sopon holds a prominent leadership position as President of the Thai Appraisal & Estate Agents Foundation, which focuses on the education and development of property valuation and urban land studies. Additionally, Sopon is the Director of the Thai Real Estate Business School, which provides real estate education under the auspices of the Royal Thai Government. Since 2002, Sopon has also represented Thailand in the International Association of Assessing Officers and has been President of the Agency for Real Estate Affairs, a property consultancy firm recognized for its ISO 9001-2008 certification. Sopon obtained a Ph.D. in Land and Housing from the Asian Institute of Technology.
