Svenja Wolter currently serves as a Climate Environment & Peacebuilding Advisor at International Alert, focusing on integrating peacebuilding with climate action and analyzing water-related conflict dynamics in Mali, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Prior to this role, Svenja coordinated the Cali Regional Office for the Organization of American States's mission in support of the peace process in Colombia. Experience also includes positions as Training Officer & Trainer at ZIF, Research Associate at Philipps-Universität Marburg, Project Officer at the Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, and various internships in organizations such as GIZ and Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Svenja holds a Master's Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from University College Maastricht.
