Leonie Coetzee serves as the Consulting Director for Clinical Quality Assurance at IAVI since October 2018, where responsibilities include the development, management, and oversight of quality management systems supporting clinical development services. In addition to this role, Leonie has held several positions including Director of Clinical Quality Assurance at Aeras and Non-Executive and Project Director at Project Health Care, among others. Leonie's extensive experience in clinical programs includes previous roles as Senior Director at the International Partnership for Microbicides and Project Director at The Aurum Institute. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate and Master's degree in Public Health from the University of the Free State, as well as participation in specialized programs in research ethics and business leadership. Leonie also owns and manages Albatross Guesthouse Langebaan.
